I am trying to teach Garrett about who is a boy and who is a girl. He likes all things boy i.e. trucks, balls, swords, trains, dirt, buggers, etc... Well, he has a sister and a mom that he spends a lot of time with while Dad and big brother are away, and so he also likes all things girl. For example, polly pockets, nail polish, the color pink, etc... The other night we had a conversation and this is how it went-
Me- Is Garrett a boy or a girl?
Garrett- A big boy.
Me- Is mommy a boy or a girl?
Garrett- A mommy.
Me- Is daddy a boy or a girl?
Garrett- A daddy.
Me- Is Paige a boy or a girl?
Garrett- A princess!
Seriously, this little kid is the cutest.

Greatest ANNOYANCE
I have experienced the worlds greatest annoyance. No it was not caused by a child or a spouse. Many of you might jump to that conclusion all on your own, but I'm here to tell ya that you are wrong. The worlds greatest annoyance was caused by some random, unlawful, nasty, self-centered, awful, dirty, rotten, thief! My purse was stolen last Thursday from my friends car while we were enjoying an afternoon at This is The Place Heritage Park. Some "girl" (read that word with grit on your tongue it makes it sound better) stole it and then had a full day of shopping at my expense. Thank goodness I will not be held accountable for the charges because they were OUTRAGEOUS! She racked up charges over $3000 and tried to take money out of our savings account. She was totally brave and went to an ATM! Seriously, they have cameras. She even went to Kohl's and maxed out my charge card. The police are collecting security footage at different stores. I hope they can nail her.
This has been a huge pain in the tokus for me and my husband! My life was in that purse. I wish the "girl" would have just taken my wallet. Why my entire purse? Maybe because it was a dang cute purse. Maybe because it also had my BRAND SPANKING NEW camera in it. Maybe because she really wanted to mess up my day. It also had my only set of car keys. Who knew that Hondas have really expensive computerized keys that cost like $30 each to replace, not to mention the $125 automatic door and lock thing-a-do. Oh the agony of it all. I had to fill out three police reports because she committed fraud in three different cities. I've been on the phone for days talking to credit/debit card account people and the police trying to put my life back together. Then today I had the nightmare of trying to get my drivers license reissued. Still working on that one. It has just been a mess. This "girl" will probably get away with it and do it again and again. I want to go steal her purse and see how she likes it! I'm trying to suppress those feelings of anger and work toward forgiveness. Not knowing who she is makes that a little easier. If I did know who she was, I might tackle her...and then who knows. Yes, it's better this way.
So what's the solution of the worlds greatest annoyance...
DON'T LEAVE YOUR PURSE IN THE CAR EVER!!!!! I have learned that as well as some other very valuable lessons.

just a few months....
Well I'm back...for now. We'll see how long this lasts. I told Grandma Reeves I would get back to the blogging world as soon as we got settled.
Headlines...
1. We moved, again! We purchased a home in West Layton, three doors down from T's parents. No I'm not crazy. It has been wonderful. It is totally easy to keep track of my kids now. If they aren't at my house then they're at Grandma's.
2. Carson is in 2nd grade. He just finished soccer and started basketball today. He's up to my chin and full of personality.
3. Paige is back in dance and LOVES it. She is doing pre school at home and learning to read. She's our true blue BYU fan. She loves going to the football games.
4. Garrett is two and not so terrible. He really is the SWEETEST child I have ever known. He loves his chalk milk, bubba (Carson), and Paige.
5. Trevor is always busy with school. We don't see too much of him these days. The good news is he'll be done in 7 months! He's missed by all. A great father and husband even when he's away.
6. I keep busy with the kids by day and eat ice cream to pass the time by night. My pants are a little tighter these days. Other than that my life is pretty much the same.
Here are our most recent family pics. Taken by yours truly and Trevor.
