11 Years

Trevor and I celebrated our 11th anniversary on Saturday.  It was a great day!  We went to a family birthday party and then left our kids with my mom.  She is so great to babysit for us!  We went out to dinner (with Emery b/c I hate to leave her too long) at our favorite restaurant the Cheese Cake Factory. Then we went to see Snow White and the Huntsman (without Emery.  We made a pit stop to drop her back off with my mom).   It was a really fun night.  Reminded me how much I enjoyed dating my husband and how wonderful the past 11 years have been.  Ok I'll stop at the mushy stuff.  

Ice Cream Party

My Sister in law Maranda is so stinking cute.  She had a birthday party for their two girls and she pulled out all the stops.  It was a ton of fun and really cute.  They had a mini bouncy house and parachute games, provided by her dad who runs a gym in Idaho.  She had every ice cream toping available and tons of cute treats.  Emery had her first cake pop (my first one, too. It was so yummy!)  The kids loved it and it was fun to hang out with family and visit.  Here are some pics...

Memorial Day Weekend

I have been meaning to publish a post about Memorial Day Weekend.  I don't know why I can't keep up on my blog!  I'm just going to put up a few pics because Emery just woke up.  I want to at least get them documented.  It was awesome to have my Dad and Grandpa John and Grandma Dot here.  Three of my four brothers were in town, too.  It was great to see everyone and make some memories...

Splash Bash 2012

On the last day of school we co-hosted a Splash Bash with the neighbors.  It was really fun and I think we will make it an annual event.

Emery- 9 Months Old

Our little Emery is not so little anymore.  She has brought so much joy into our home.  I can't believe how much Carson loves her.  She is his little buddy.  Every morning he gets her out of bed and brings her to me for a diaper and them plays with her until breakfast.  Some mornings he takes care of her while I go running or biking.  I can see that these two are going to grow close over the years.

Emery had a great 9 month appointment.  Her tiny little head is finally catching up to the rest of her body.  She is in the 37% for head circumference, 77% for hight, and the 53% for weight.  She is starting to mimic our sounds and tries to communicate with us. She love to say, "Hi!"  Emery is relatively easy going, like her daddy, but she can be a bit feisty at times.  She gets around by rolling and scooting on her belly.  It wont be long before she is crawling.  I'll enjoy my last few weeks...

Blue Jays

Carson just finished the baseball season.  They did very well as a team.  Had lots of wins and almost made it into the playoffs.  I was really pleased with how much he improved from last year.  This year was machine pitch, scary!  He did great, made some awesome hits, caught a few pop flies, got a handful of players out at first, and tried out a few different positions.  It was really fun to watch him play!

Kindergarten Graduation

Paige graduated from Kindergarten!  She did really well in her program.  It was fun to see all the kids on stage.  I had a misty eye moment as I watched her sing all those fun songs.  She really has learned a ton this year and grown up so much.  She looks a lot like me as a kid, only cuter!
