I do love Utah. This has been a wonderful move. I'm so grateful for Trevor's wonderful new job. I'm excited to live closer to family. I love that there is a church on every corner. It's refreshing to be surrounded by so many friendly people. (Remember that American Idol episode when they made fun of Utahans for being so polite? It's true!) I'm excited that my kids will not be the only Mormon in their school. There are so many great things about Utah. I really am enjoying it here. I know I'll love it even more when we are settled.
Boo Boo Utah!!! Just kidding, it does have a few good points.
ReplyDeleteYour paranoia and anxiety is a mixture of both, but since you cant change it, dont fret. I think you will find many mothers contemplate random disasters- I keep an axe in my bedroom. Yes, an axe. Why? Its the only weapon I could find. Is that a little psycho? Yes, but in case of a psycho, it will come in handy.
You're so lucky. I miss clean, bright Utah. Clean parks. Clean people. Nicely kept yards. I remember your mom talking about how much she missed the blue, blue skies in Utah. Now that I'm living in smog, I give that a hearty amen!
ReplyDeleteWe put our house up for sale yesterday and Luke suggested that we move into Carson's old house so that Carson would know how to find us. ;)
