Winter in Las Vegas
We bundled up in our jackets the other day and went out to play in the culdesac. Carson is gaining confidence at riding his scooter. After four years of telling him to stay out of the street, I am now encouraging him to play in it and so the poor kid is purely confused! He has a healthy fear of the road and he didn't want to at first, but then he started to trust me. I explained that there were not going to be cars in the middle of the day in the culdesac and that I would be right there watching. When he finally ventured into the road we played no shoe horse shoes for an hour. Carson surprised me with his addition skills as he kept score. It was so nice to get out of the house and have some fun with the kids outside. Paige watched us from the side walk and made chalk rainbows. It was a great day!

Sounds fun - so nice to be able to go outside and do that kind of stuff...in January! Bet you really miss Ohio, eh?
